Program Director Job Description:

Our Program Directors are responsible for managing a team of clinicians in the design and implementation of individualized treatment programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Additionally, Program Directors may opt to participate in a variety of activities and projects for the betterment of the company and the behavior analytic field, to include conducting and presenting research, speaking in the community, volunteering at events, and working on other clinical projects of their interest.

Essential Job Functions Include:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and design exceptional, evidence-based, individualized, comprehensive, and effective treatment plans and intervention programs for each learner
  • Regularly observe and assess each client's treatment and provide updates to assure optimal progress
  • Update assessments and progress reports | concurrent reviews for insurance providers and school districts
  • Educate and train parents in the Principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, therapeutic targets and strategies, and behavior management techniques to ensure proper generalization of treatment effects outside the therapy setting
  • Collaborate with funding sources, attend IEP meetings, and conduct peer reviews to assure most optimal and comprehensive treatment for clients
  • Provide sound clinical oversight and management of therapeutic teams to optimize treatment outcomes
  • Maintain accurate treatment notes for each client's medical record

Requirements

  • Master's Degree (Degree in Psychology or closely related field strongly preferred)
  • Behavior Analyst Certification (BCBA) completed 2 years prior experience in a similar role (Case Supervisor, Program Director, etc.)
