March's Center-Based Services Spotlight: Hermosa Beach!

March HB Center Based This month our kiddos receiving Center-Based Services in our Hermosa Beach Center will be moving their hands and their bodies with songs, games, crafts, and activities to the theme: "Feeling Lucky!" 

Their target skills for March will be focused on early learning, functional skill building, abstract building, and independent skill building. Our center-based services will utilize colors, sensory tacting, emotional regulation, self-regulation, sportsmanship, and perseverance in building all these skills. 

We are looking forward to seeing all the progress our center-based kiddos make this March!

Sensory Sensitive Sunday at Chuck E. Cheese's!

Chuck E. Cheese's offers Sensory Sensitive Sundays on the first Sunday of every month! 

This special event for children with autism and other special needs starts 2 hours earlier than regular business hours and features: 

  • reduced lighting and noise 
  • offered food and games 
  • trained and caring staff
