A parent group run through We Care Service for Children. Provides parent to parent support as well as parent education meetings.

This national group has many local chapters, and is an organization dedicated to raising and allocating funds to address the many unanswered questions about autism.

A parent group with monthly guest speakers, dedicated to keeping parents informed of issues relevant to autism spectrum disorders. The group meets monthly at the Barnes & Noble in Walnut Creek.

CARE provides family support, resources, & training for families of children with special needs.

FRN provides a variety of support, training, and resources for Alameda County parents of children who are on the Autism spectrum.

FCSN provides support groups and educational seminars for adults while children are divided by age groups and participate in various classes.

An East Contra Costa County parent support group with monthly educational/support meetings for parents with special needs kids. The first hour is devoted to an educational presentation by a guest speaker, and the second hour is for parent to parent support.

A non-profit organization, SNN's mission is to raise public awareness of developmental disabilities and to impact public policy, while providing education and resources to families, children and adults. SNN serves as a link between underserved communities and mainstream developmental disability organizations and governmental institutions, which often fail to address issues specific to these communities.

SFCD offers a wide variety of support groups as well as educational workshops, quarterly family gatherings, and parent mentors.

The Father's Circle provides a forum for men with special needs kids to share information, resources, and their own personal experiences with each other. Meetings are held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pleasanton.
