Jenna Battaglia, M.S., BCBA
Clinical Operations Analyst
Jenna is a Behavior Analyst living in Boulder County, Colorado. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from The University of Wisconsin-Madison. Shortly after graduation, she started working with children who were dual diagnosed with mental health disorders and developmental disabilities. After falling in love with the field, she returned to graduate school at Montana State University, earning a Master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis on Applied Behavior Analysis.
Jenna directed the developmental disabilities program for a mental health agency in Missoula,
Montana. She then moved to California to become a Program Supervisor, designing and implementing treatment for autistic children. After missing the mountains too much, she relocated to Colorado where she became the Regional Director for a new agency, directing their ABA services across the state. Jenna joined the FirstSteps team in 2023 as the Clinical Operations Analyst. For the last 15 years, Jenna has become a passionate advocate for families and children who are underserved in rural areas. She loves to implement operational systems that benefit clients and enable clinical teams to be more efficient and clinically focused.
Jenna lives with her husband and two children. When not working at FirstSteps, you can find Jenna trail running and skiing in the beautiful Colorado mountains, seeing live music, baking lots of treats, gardening, and encouraging her toddlers to love the mountains too!
